Assigning licences

To assign a license to a user go to Office 365 Admin portal - https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home - and login with your credentials.

1. Go to Users -> Active users.

2. Click on the user to whom you want to assign a license.

3. On the right, in the Product licenses row, choose Edit.

4. Switch the toggle to the On position for the license that you want to assign to this user.

NOTE! By default, all of the services included in a license are assigned automatically. If you don't want a user to have access to particular services, switch the toggle to the Off position for each service.

5. Click Save -> Close -> Close.

 

You can add licenses to multiple users following these steps:

1. Go to Users -> Active users.

2. Select multiple users to whom you want to assign a license.

3. From Bulk actions on the right select  Edit product licences.

4. Choose Add to existing product license assignments and click Next.

5. Choose license you want to assign to those users by switching the toggle to the On position.

NOTE! By default, all of the services included in a license are assigned automatically. If you don't want a user to have access to particular services, switch the toggle to the Off position for each service.

6. Click Save -> Close -> Close.
